SCHOLARSHIPS AND MINI-GRANTS

Teacher scholarships and grants are specifically designed to help advance  continuing education and student achievement.  All educators are eligible for the awards although NWPE members receive first preference.  Click here for more information.

NWPE provides professional staff development workshops, seminars, forums and roundtables on a variety of educational and teachers’ rights issues.

EDUCATION VIEWPOINTS

NWPE takes positions on education issues but only after surveying our members.  We must receive a 75% supermajority vote prior to taking a public position.  Survey results are shared with educators, policy makers, legislators, and the media.  Click here to see NWPE position statements.
